This year marks the 350th anniversary of the Paris Opera Troupe and the 30th anniversary of its modern venue in the Place de la Bastille. To celebrate this day, the troupe commissioned French artist Claude Leveque to create a series of installations, Saturnales. One of them is a pair of gold-plated tyres produced by the Paris Opera Company's studio, which seamlessly blends with Garnier's central staircase, even adding a rhythm to it.
